Certification Policy
In compliance with the official Yoga Alliance standards, attendance to all classes is mandatory to successfully complete the certified course. In the event of a properly excused absence, students may miss up to 20 hours of classes. Legitimate reasons could be sickness or administrative issues, e.g. visa. The committed agreements of the class etiquette are provided here.
Besides punctuality and the attendance requirement, students must also complete all assignments, demonstrate an understanding of the training content in a final exam and successfully complete their teaching practicums.
Upon successful graduation, students will receive an officially recognized Yoga Instructor Certificate. With this degree, the Akasha Yoga Academy authorizes its graduates to become Registered Yoga Teachers and members of the renowned Yoga Alliance. The accredited certificate entitles them to sign-up as a Registered Yoga Teacher: RYT-200.
